Teaching your kids isolation, and keeping them from family is the absolute worst thing you could be doing. You are causing long term damage to them that I hope they do not hold against you.
Maybe one day they will “set boundaries” for you. Maybe one day they will tell you that you were “toxic” without giving an excuse or even an example. Maybe one day they will break your heart and you will have to mourn them even though they are still alive – and you will be alone, within your “boundaries”.
I do not wish that on you Bryce, not for one second. It’s the absolute hardest thing a parent can go through.
You have a huge family that misses you.
